Do I need a fishing License?
Yes, a valid Pennsylvania fishing license with a trout stamp is required for anyone 16 years and older. They can be purchased at WalMart or online. A screenshot on your phone is acceptable.
What if I do not have fly fishing equipment?
Don’t worry! Rods, reels, and flies are provided. In most cases, waders and boots can be provided as well, depending on size.
Is fishing experience required?
No fishing experience of any kind is required. Beginners are welcome!
what should i bring?
please bring a valid pa fishing license and water. Come dressed and prepared for the weather. We highly recommend wearing polarized low-light sunglasses and a hat while on the water. Sunscreen and bug spray are also recommended in the Summer months.
what is the age limit for children?
We recommend half day trips for kids 12 and up in most cases.
Where will we be fishing?
There are plenty of wild brown trout and native brook trout streams to choose from in central pennsylvania. many variables determine which stream is chosen, water temps, hatches, stream levels, etc. the most common creeks we fish are spring creek, bald eagle creek, fishing creek, penns creek, kish creek, spruce creek, and the little juniata.
